Overview:Our CT department offers competative rates and shift differentials.Schedule: Sunday-Thursday 11pm- 7am.Call every 8th weekend Friday 8pm- Monday 7am2 holidays a yearOperates CT scanner to image designated portions of the body. Responsible for mentoring and training students in a cooperative learning environmentResponsibilities:* Prepares patient for examination.* Performs CT scans on patients as directed according to established procedure.* Assists patient after completion of examination in preparation for departure.* Prepares room, equipment and materials needed for examinations, positioning aids for patient comfort and security and protective shields and apparel.* Reviews images, documents completion of case, scans required documents and transmits to the Radiologist via PACS.* Accepts verbal and telephone orders from ED Physician or APN for CT Brain Code Stroke Protocol.Qualifications:Education:* High School Diploma Or Equivalent Required* Formal Radiologic Technology training at an AMA school.Work Experience:* Radiology Technician* Cat Scan TechnologistLicenses and Certifications:* State license / New Jersey* ARRT Certification* CT certified* BLSRequired Knowledge and Skills:Strong professional, organizational, and interpersonal skills to effectively relate with all members of the healthcare team.About Us:CentraState Healthcare System, a partner of Atlantic Health System, is a fully accredited, not-for-profit, community-based health system that provides comprehensive health services in the central New Jersey region.
