Job Description Job Description STAFF ACCOUNTANT | INTERVIEWS HAPPENING THIS WEEK Position Title : Staff Accountant Location : Carteret, NJ After undergoing an organizational restructure and onboarding of a new CFO, a leading manufacturing company is seeking to bring on a Staff Accountant to their expanding team! Please see the responsibilities below: Compare vendor invoice to ERP system receipts and purchase orders to ensure vendor invoice is correct Ensure all vendor invoices for non-tangibles have purchase order and request approval to pay from requisitioner Maintain organized files of vendor invoices and credits Review AP Aging report to ensure all invoices are being paid and all credits applied Prepare payments sessions in ERP system for approved Batch reports Print AP checks for signature, including supporting documentation and batch summary sheet according to check signer’s specifications Review vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies Monthly review un-invoiced receipts to ensure all invoices are received Process all DMR receipts in the ERP system Identify & obtain1099 forms from non-corporate vendors at year-end Qualifications: 4 years of accounting experience Working knowledge of NetSuite Exposure to manufacturing, food & fragrance, consumer products, or chemical industries Bachelor's Degree in Accounting Strong MS Excel Skills Benefits: Flexible compensation Clear career growth path Benefits available (medical, dental, vision) Interviews are happening this week! Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Carteret, NJ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
