found the right team. As a Project Manager II - Client Tax
Operations within within JPMorgan Chase, you will support the
delivery of regulatory and strategic tax programs. You will help
translate complex tax rules into actionable project plans,
modernize processes and controls, and ensure accurate tax
withholding, documentation, and reporting. You will collaborate
across teams, manage project details, and drive results in a
dynamic environment. Job Responsibilities: Deliver end-to-end
delivery of tax operations initiatives, including scoping,
planning, budgeting, and governance, to ensure projects are
completed on time and within scope. Develop and maintain detailed
project plans, tracking milestones, dependencies, resources, and
budgets and update RAID logs (Risks, Actions, Issues, Dependencies)
and delivery metrics to keep execution on track. Facilitate project
working group meetings by preparing agendas, capturing decisions,
documenting action items and owners, and tracking progress and
risks. Design and implement target operating models and process
improvements, embedding controls, service level agreements (SLAs),
and key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure compliance and
accuracy. Monitor risks, issues, and dependencies, enforce change
control, and maintain audit and compliance evidence. Support
stakeholder communications and change management efforts, including
preparing status reports and helping develop standard operating
procedures (SOPs). Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and
Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance,
Accounting, or a related field. Four years of experience in project
management within the financial services industry, with exposure to
tax operations preferred. Familiarity with US Tax Withholding &
Reporting Requirements (such as FATCA, NRA, Backup, 1099, 1042S) is
a plus. Demonstrate ability to support complex business solutions
and manage multiple priorities. Solid understanding of tax
operations, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative
approach. Ability to think methodically and drive results in a
fast-paced, evolving environment. Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced degree (MBA or similar) Experience with process
re-engineering, change management, or audit readiness is
desirable.
