OVERALL RESPONSIBLITIES:

Perform SEC financial reporting, prepare and distribute reports (10K's, 10Q's, 8K's, and MD&A) to Senior Management, and prepare and distribute daily financial reports to various internal stakeholders. Responsible for technical accounting evaluations in accordance with US GAAP. Performs a variety of accounting tasks including but not limited to preparing journal entries, reconciling various balance sheet accounts, processing and reconciling interfacing sub-systems to the general ledger, and preparing workpapers and internal schedule based on financial results. This position is located in the New Jersey Corporate Headquarters.



KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Internal and external reporting

- Involvement with specialized projects on an as needed basis in conjunction with management and/or senior staff

- Draft SEC financials for external audit

- Provide support for the quarterly earnings release process

- Coordinate with business unit managers and other departments to ensure adherence to US GAAP

- Participate in special projects as the need arise

- Working with external auditors on quarterly reviews and year-end audits

- Participate in the finance closing process (review of journal entries, financial statements and supplemental reporting)



QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance and CPA certification

- 3+ years of experience in accounting or auditing with a combination of private and public accounting a plus

- Must also have knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and SEC reporting requirements

- Experience with performing technical accounting research

- Experience with drafting financial statement filings with the SEC (10-Q and 10-K)

- Knowledge of consolidations, investments, currency translation adjustments, goodwill, cash flows
