Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Your Role & Responsibilities As
a School SLP, you will: Conduct assessments and evaluations to
identify students’ communication strengths and needs. Develop and
implement individualized education programs (IEPs) aligned with
each student’s goals. Provide speech and language therapy to
students individually and in small groups. Collaborate closely with
teachers, parents, and the Child Study Team to support language
development in all learning environments. Maintain accurate records
and documentation in compliance with district, state, and federal
guidelines. Participate in team meetings and provide insights for
multidisciplinary planning. Serve as an educational consultant to
staff and parents regarding communication disorders. Stay current
with best practices and research through professional development.
What You Bring to the Table Master’s Degree in Speech-Language
Pathology or related field New Jersey Educational Services
Certificate with Speech-Language Specialist Endorsement
Comprehensive knowledge of assessment, treatment, and prevention of
speech, language, and hearing disorders Excellent communication and
interpersonal skills Commitment to supporting diverse learners and
fostering inclusion Must pass a criminal background check and
provide proof of U.S. citizenship or legal work authorization About
