We are seeking a passionate, student-centered 6th Grade Math Teacher to join a growing public charter school in Plainfield, NJ. Check out our candidates' success stories! What You’ll Do Deliver rigorous and engaging math instruction aligned with state standards for 6th grade. Develop lesson plans that support mastery of key concepts including ratios, expressions, equations, geometry, and data analysis. Differentiate instruction to meet the varying needs of students, including those needing intervention or enrichment. Use data-driven practices to assess student progress and adjust instruction for continuous improvement. Build a positive classroom environment that fosters collaboration, curiosity, and a growth mindset toward mathematics. Incorporate math-related technology tools to enhance learning and engagement. Collaborate with grade-level and content teams to develop curriculum and share best practices. Participate in professional development, staff meetings, and school-wide initiatives. Perform additional duties as assigned by school leadership.
