A full-time Special Education Teacher position is available for the upcoming full semester in a middle school setting within Philadelphia, PA. Key Responsibilities: Develop and deliver lesson plans aligned with current state and district standards. Utilize formative assessments to guide instruction and meet diverse student needs. Demonstrate strong classroom and behavioral management skills. Collaborate with staff to foster a supportive learning environment. Maintain compliance with all PA clearances and district policies. Qualifications and Experience: Active Pennsylvania special education certification/licensure required. Bachelor's degree necessary to obtain an emergency teaching permit. Prior school experience, preferably in an urban setting. Demonstrated mastery of instructional strategies and resource materials. Strong ability to manage classroom behavior effectively. Comfortable navigating district protocols and location-specific requirements.
