seeking a Tuition & Financial Aid Manager to support tuition
collection and the financial aid process at two of our schools: SS.
Cyril & Philomena and St. Rose of Lima. This person will report
directly to the Senior Manager of Network Tuition & Billing at the
Central Office. This position is full-time and works 12 months out
of the year. Tuition Collection Responsibilities: Handles all
tuition collection responsibilities for two elementary schools
serving nearly 500 students in Philadelphia and surrounding areas
Provide excellent customer service to families Reviews tuition
aging reports and follow up with those that are late. Make
collection phone calls, send correspondence and follow up Works
closely with Senior Manager of Network Tuition & Billing to ensure
all reports are completed in a timely manner Becomes enmeshed with
each school’s community, including students, staff, and families
Works with Principal to resolve issues Manages collection and
accurate tracking of money orders, checks, and cash (as needed)
Maintains notes and records in online tuition collection system
Attends parent meetings as directed Provides other duties as
assigned Financial Aid Responsibilities: Assists with on-line
financial aid process Follows up as needed to ensure all
scholarship paperwork is completed and submitted by deadlines
Attends and/or coordinates Open Houses and Financial Aid events as
required Imports Financial Aid Applications to tuition management
system Ensures families are receiving correct and maximum amount of
financial aid and scholarships available Works to support
applications to Children' s Scholarship Fund and other
organizations Maintain confidentiality and privacy in regards to
financial documents Auxiliary Responsibilities: Supports Admissions
& Enrollment process at school in coordination with Admissions &
Enrollment Manager Takes inquiry calls regarding admissions Sets up
appointments with prospects. Meet with prospects, give tour and
complete necessary paperwork Requirements High School Diploma
(required); Some College (preferred) Customer Service Experience
(preferred) Billing or Collections Experience (preferred)
Clearances on all required background checks (required) Other
Pertinent Information Hours: Full-time (40 hrs/week), including
occasional evenings or weekends to attend events as needed Core
hours typically follow school day (7:30-3:30) with approximately
10-20% of time outside of core hours Time split between schools is
anticipated at 60%/40% (3 days/2 days), subject to change based on
