We are experiencing a period of rapid growth and we are expanding our team to meet the needs of our business and global customer base. Our team designs and engineers products, outsources fabrication, and then brings finished subassemblies back in house for final assembly, testing, and kitting. Clayton designs and manufactures industrial vacuums and tools, both electric and air powered, for aerospace customers including all aircraft/spacecraft manufacturers, commercial airlines, and military armed forces. We are seeking an Engineer with at least 5 years of industry experience to design new products and evolve existing products using PTC Pro Engineer. How You Will Spend Your Time:Imagine for a moment designing a shop vac, tool box, or air tool. These items require machined parts, injection molded parts, sheet metal parts, roto-molded parts, spun or stamped parts, wiring harnesses.--It requires integrating third party components like drawer glides, casters, switches, latches, and fasteners.--It requires air flow analysis, thermal dynamics, and stress analysis. We don't expect you to know all of these, but we are looking for someone who can think outside the box to find clever solutions to interesting problems.This is a fast paced environment where you'll be juggling multiple projects at one time. We work hard and have fun everyday.--There are no boring days at Clayton.To Be Successful in this role you should have: * Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related discipline with 5 + years of experience preferred.* Experience with ProE is preferred.--Knowledge or experience with similar software such as Creo Cad, SolidWorks or Autocad Inventor can be helpful.* General tool and manufacturing knowledge; understanding of hand and power tools; general understanding of manufacturing processes (molding, sheet metal, machining, additive manufacturing, etc).* Be able to think creatively and think outside the box.See our website for a look at our products www.DustlessMadeSimple.com
