Renaissance LLCAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, national origin, disability, veteran status, age, marital status, pregnancy, genetic information, or other legally protected status.OverviewThe Manager of Total Rewards is responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and maintenance of the compensation, benefits, and total rewards strategy with an emphasis on building and promoting the employee value proposition. This position is exempt from overtime.Responsibilities--- Oversee the development, implementation and on-going management of the benefits and compensation programs including but not limited to job evaluations, variable incentives, recognition and annual compensation planning, benefit plan design and administration--- Partner with HR to provide education, tools, support and counsel on compensation for new hires, promotions, transfers and reorganizations to attract, recognize and retain key talent--- Establish and track merit pay, adjustment and promotion, and bonus budgets --- Manage the annual pay review and adjustment and bonus cycles, suggesting enhancements and improvements where possible--- Manage the project plans and compensation aspects of the Managing for Growth performance management cycle, including conducting pre-planning, periodic updates and after-action reviews in the spirit of continuous improvement --- Develop, monitor and drive pay programs aligned with high performance including setting merit budgets --- Ensure employee and leadership understanding of programs and practices and the value proposition of programs offered, through ongoing communication and training--- Oversee the development, implementation, and on-going management of the benefits programs including but not limited to health and welfare programs, retirement plans, wellness and disability--- Partners with external vendors, brokers and consultant relationships--- Works with and consults legal counsel on ERISA and other pay and benefit compliance matters --- Manages benefits budget and related accounting and billing; contributes to setting benefit rates and annual compensation budgets, contributes to setting short term and longer term benefits strategy and roadmap--- Drives improvement of HR processes related to compensation and benefits (i.e. data interfaces; TPA accountability, LOA administration compliance, plan audits, etc)--- Monitor industry trends and competitors and propose programs suited for the company and aligned with company's strategy--- Partner with HR team and business leaders to develop employer brand and employee experience strategy that drive a best in class workplace experience--- Develop a standardized rewards and recognition program to celebrate employee milestones, including and peer-to-peer recognition--- Work with team to build on our existing feedback channels in order to maintain an open and fluid effective feedback culture--- Create total rewards materials for onboarding new hires, for employees with regard to total rewards packages and statements, and employee recognition--- Assist department head closely with communications and driving cultural evolution--- Flexibility to work remotely and on site--- Additional duties as assignedQualificationsBachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related degree10 + years of experience in Human Resources roles (pharmaceutical industry preferred) Experience working with Compensation and Benefits plans and understanding of plan design and costsStay current on industry compensation practices and changing legal issues, assessing and communicating their potential impact on the businessKnowledge of HR practices and principlesKnowledge of ADP HR systemsStrong working knowledge of ExcelStrong knowledge of HR, compensation and benefits tools and technology Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with attention to detailExperienced working in a dynamic HR organization that requires good partnership skills to support the businessSuperior skill in communicating effectively with all levels of employees both verbally and in writing, including top management, sufficient to provide information, interpret policy and to justify and persuade othersSkill in verbally and in writing presenting complex information in an understandable manner with the end-user in mind.
