Job Description The Equipment Manager will work closely with the Superintendent to help aid in keeping the high standards of the course maintained. The position will involve daily management of the equipment fleet and any maintenance involved in keeping them functioning correctly. The golf carts are maintained through an outside service contract. Prior golf course experience preferred but not required. Working knowledge and experience in the following areas. - Small engines, larger gas and diesel engines, hydraulic and electrical systems. - Diagnostic and trouble shooting problems - Grinding reel mowers and bed knives. (Will train) - Checking quality of cut while equipment is in use. - Maintain parts and shop inventory. - Welding and fabrication a plus. - Working with the Superintendent to operate within a budget and give input on equipment purchases and replacement. Special Requirements Must be a self starter with the ability to work alone and within a team. Ability to work in all types of weather conditions, lift heavy objects, assist training staff on use of equipment and maintain a safe, clean and efficient shop Company Description Eagle Ridge Golf Club is a 27 hole championship golf course located 20 minutes from the Jersey Shore in Central New Jersey.
