About This RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced
Associate Branch Manager to join our team at Wells Fargo Bank. As a
key member of our Consumer, Small and Business Banking division,
you will be responsible for leading and managing a diverse team of
high-performing direct reports, creating a culture that fosters
engagement and generates commitment and accountability to business
outcomes.Key Responsibilities
- Coach, develop, and build a high-performing team to execute on
business strategies, achieve results, and drive growth of the
business.
- Resolve tactical issues regarding the customer and employee
experience, risk, and growth of the business to meet Branch Network
business objectives.
- Identify opportunities for making banking easier for customers
through education and demonstration of available digital options to
support adoption and customer convenience.
- Lead the branch while engaging stakeholders, peers, and
internal partners in collaborating and building strong partnerships
to deliver a customer-centric experience.
- Responsible for selection, evaluation, and development of
staff.Requirements
- 2+ years of banking, financial services, or Branch Network
experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination
of the following: work experience, training, military experience,
education.
- 1+ years of leadership experience.Preferred Qualifications
- Leadership experience including coaching, training, developing,
inspiring, and building a high-performing team where adaptability,
collaboration, and accountability to performance are critical to
success.
- Ability to analyze performance, understand strengths and
opportunities, and execute a plan that empowers employees to
achieve business objectives.
- Exercise independent judgment and critical thinking skills to
manage time, prioritize, and delegate tasks in a complex,
fast-paced environment.
- Extensive experience in asking questions and identifying
complex financial needs in order to provide relevant options to
customers.
- Experience and knowledge in coaching across customer segments,
including affluent, high net worth, and small business.
- Experience building and maintaining effective relationships
with customers, internal partners, and within the community.
- Knowledge and understanding of banking industry laws and
regulations, compliance controls, risk management, and loss
prevention.
- Ability to interact with integrity and professionalism with
customers and employees.
- Ability to lead a team to influence, educate, and connect
customers to technology and share the value of digital banking.What
