Job Description WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking a local contract Radiology Technologist for a local contract job in Lakewood, New Jersey. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Radiology Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Local Contract WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Radiology Technologist for an ongoing contract assignment at an Ambulatory Surgery Center in Lakewood, NJ. Job Function: /n - Day Shift. /n - 7am - 5pm. /n - Position patients and adjust equipment to capture diagnostic images as requested by the physician. /n /n - Set up, operate, and maintain X-ray equipment in accordance with established policies and procedures. /n /n - Explain imaging procedures clearly and compassionately to patients to ensure comfort and cooperation. /n /n - Minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff by following proper radiation safety protocols. /n /n - Review and evaluate developed X-rays for quality and accuracy before submission. /n /n - Ensure proper documentation and labeling of images and patient information. /n /n - Maintain cleanliness, functionality, and safety standards of all imaging equipment. /n /n /n /n /n /n - /n /n Job Requirements: /n - Graduate of an accredited radiology program. /n - ARRT registered with Radiography (R) certification. /n - 6 months of paid working experience as a Radiologic Technologist. /n - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. /n - Valid driver's license. /n - New Jersey Radiologic Technologist State Certificate. /n /n Disclosure: The hourly rates and/or salaries listed may or may not reflect total compensation packages including bonus and fringe benefits, etc., nor are the advertisement(s) posted a guarantee of a certain compensation package for a position or bona fide offer of employment.
