Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)- PRN Who we are: Kindred
Hospital Philadelphia - Havertown and Acute Rehabilitation Unit
(ARU) is 66-bed hospital offering the same in depth care you would
receive in a traditional hospital, but for an extended recovery
period. With 57 long-term acute care (LTAC) hospital beds, we
partner with your physician and offer 24-hour clinical care seven
days a week so you can start your journey to wellness. Similarly,
our nine-bed ARU is designed for people who have experienced the
debilitating effects of acute injury, impairment or illness. We are
in within a medical district close to Darby Creek and West Chester

and treating patient populations for swallowing, speech-language

wellbeing. Qualifications and requirements Applicants should have a
master's degree in Speech Language Pathology. Additional
requirements include: - Licensed Speech Therapist; Current
licensure with PA Board of Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology. -
Basic Life Support (BLS) within 60 days of hire What we offer

thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with
minimal supervision. - Must be able to work in a stressful
environment and take appropriate action. - Essential Functions
Performs and documents initial and ongoing assessments of patient's
condition. - Designs and implements a plan of care which is
appropriate to problems identified and involves the patient and
family. - Educates and counsels patients and families regarding
treatment plans and progress. - Plans and/or assist with patient
discharge from therapy services. - Supervises activities of
clinical fellows, students, and other support personnel. EEOC
