Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Occupational
Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of
Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not
meet these qualifications will not be considered. This position
offers an opportunity to provide occupational therapy services
within an elementary school setting, supporting students to enhance
their functional abilities and participation in school activities.
The role is based in Pine Plains, NY, and is available on a
full-time, contract basis starting ASAP with an anticipated end
date of July 9th, 2026, with potential for extension and permanent
placement. Key Qualifications and Experience: Valid New York State
license and credentials for occupational therapy Experience working
within a school environment, preferably supporting elementary-aged
children Strong understanding of school-based occupational therapy
practices and related assessments Ability to design and implement
individualized therapy plans that align with educational goals
Effective communication skills for collaboration with educators,
families, and multidisciplinary teams Commitment to
student-centered care and the ability to adapt interventions to
diverse needs Responsibilities: Conduct evaluations and assessments
to identify students' occupational therapy needs Develop and
implement therapy plans targeting fine motor skills, sensory
processing, and daily living skills Collaborate with teachers,
parents, and other professionals to integrate therapy goals into
the educational environment Document progress and maintain accurate
records in compliance with state and school regulations Participate
in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute
professional recommendations Foster a supportive and engaging
therapeutic environment that promotes student success Location:
Pine Plains, NY Elementary School Setting This full-time, contract
role is an excellent opportunity for occupational therapists
seeking to impact the educational experiences of young learners
while working within a collaborative school community. Licensure
within New York State is required, and the position is not open to
vocational rehabilitation candidates. Interested candidates are

position ranges from $31.70 to $61.70. Eligible candidates may also
