time/Exempt Location: Hudson County, NJ Compensation Range:
$77,000-$90,000/annually Reports to: School Principal Position
Summary: We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team.
The primary goal of this role is to promote student health and
well-being through comprehensive health assessments, individualized
health plans, and effective referrals. Additionally, the nurse will
coordinate emergency nursing management and community health
activities. North Hudson Academy, a First Children School, is a New
Jersey Department of Education approved private special education
school, serving students from PreK through high school. Our school
offers programs for students with behavioral/emotional issues, pre
school handicapped and learners on the Autism Spectrum. Job
Responsibilities: Conduct health assessments for students Develop
and implement individualized health plans Facilitate necessary
referrals to healthcare providers Coordinate emergency nursing
management Engage in health activities Team: This role will be part
of the school staff, reporting to the school principal. Basic
Qualifications: BSN Degree Required Nursing license in the state of
New Jersey. (RN) Current CPR/AED and Professional Rescuer
Certifications. Strong interpersonal skills. Professional demeanor.
Adequate vision and hearing. Physical mobility for emergency
situations. Preferred Qualifications: Proficiency in English and
bi-lingual in Spanish Preferred School Nurse Certification
preferred; Substitute Certificate considered Benefits: Our benefit
