Job Description Job Description Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Location: Neptune, NJ 07754 Position Type: Contract Schedule: Day Shift | 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM | 3 x 12-Hour Shifts Pay Rate: $50 – $53 per hour Position Overview "Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide comprehensive respiratory care services to patients with cardiopulmonary conditions in an acute care setting. Under the supervision of Respiratory Services leadership, the RRT will perform diagnostic, therapeutic, and supportive respiratory interventions while maintaining strict adherence to clinical protocols, safety standards, and departmental policies. Responsibilities Administer respiratory therapy treatments as prescribed by physicians Assist with intubation procedures, ventilator setup, and ongoing ventilator management Perform detailed respiratory assessments and collect clinical data to evaluate patient status Provide patient and caregiver education regarding respiratory conditions, treatments, and equipment usage Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to support comprehensive care plans Accurately document treatments, procedures, and patient responses in the medical record Maintain and troubleshoot respiratory equipment in accordance with safety guidelines Participate in quality improvement initiatives and departmental projects Required Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential Active state Respiratory Care license Current BLS (AHA), ACLS, and PALS certifications Strong communication, teamwork, and patient-centered care skills Ability to adapt in a fast-paced acute care environment Education Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent Completion of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program For more details contact at hdavda@navitashealth.com or Call / Text at 516-862-1169.
