Pay: $67 per hour Shift Information: Days Start Date: 3/2/2026 About the Position Physical Therapist Location: Watchung, NJ Start Date: 03-02-2026 End Date: 06-06-2026 Contract Type: Contract Shift Type: Sunday-Saturday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Day shift Hours per Week: 35 Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour Roles & Responsibilities Provide skilled physical therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans Deliver hands-on therapy and therapeutic exercise to improve patient mobility and function Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate high-quality patient care Document patient progress accurately and timely in the medical record Educate patients and families on goals, home programs, and safe mobility strategies Participate in care planning and discharge planning to ensure smooth transitions Qualifications Current Physical Therapist license for New Jersey (required) Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred, or degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification required or willing to obtain Previous clinical experience in inpatient/outpatient rehabilitation preferred Comfortable with electronic medical records and thorough documentation Ability to pass background check and meet facility onboarding requirements Education Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred; Bachelor's or Master's in Physical Therapy acceptable Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program Knowledge & Skills Strong assessment skills and clinical reasoning in rehab settings Proficiency in therapeutic exercise, gait training, and manual therapy techniques Excellent communication and patient education skills Ability to work well within an interdisciplinary team Time management and organizational skills to handle a varied caseload Familiarity with discharge planning and care coordination Benefits Supportive team environment that values your skills and growth Flexible scheduling to help balance life and work Licensure assistance and reimbursement to keep you current Paid time off to recharge and avoid burnout Paid continuing education and professional development opportunities Comprehensive onboarding and mentor support for a smooth start Referral program to reward you for great colleagues Clear communication and dedicated clinical leadership to help you succeed Apply Now Ready to start your next adventure as a Physical Therapist?
