The Clinical Documentation Improvement Program (CDIP)
Administrative Director is a key position within the organization.
This role provides system wide administrative and operational
oversight to the Cooper Health Care CDIP, both for inpatient and
professional billing, as well as serving as the point of contact
for strategic planning and execution, and operations related to
clinical documentation. - This position will develop and implement
the strategy and operations for the CDIP in collaboration with
system Compliance, Finance, Quality, and Health Information
Management. - This position will provide education and support at
the system level including, but not limited to, onsite education,
assisting with the application of the CDI software during
transition periods, and assisting with the collection and compiling
of information reflective of outcomes associated with the software
from a system perspective. - The CDIP Administrative Director will
function as the Corporate Steering Committee (administration) chair
and may participate in Task Force (CDI team) meetings to provide
comprehensive oversight of the CDI program, both inpatient and
professional billing (PB). Experience Required 3-5 years CDI
required with progressive leadership preferred. Clinical background
required — RN, MD, PA or etc. Education Requirements Bachelor's
degree required. License/Certification Requirements
