Epic Special Education Staffing is seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team dedicated to fostering educational success for children with special needs. In this role, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of professionals to provide tailored therapeutic interventions within our educational settings. Your expertise in occupational therapy will directly contribute to optimizing students' educational achievements and enhancing their daily life skills. You will play a pivotal role in assessing student needs, planning interventions, and evaluating outcomes, ensuring our commitment to high-standard educational services is consistently met. Assess students' functional abilities and develop individualized intervention plans. Implement therapeutic interventions to enhance students' cognitive, physical, and motor skills. Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and parents to integrate therapeutic practices into educational plans. Monitor and report on students' progress, adapting strategies as needed to optimize outcomes. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss and plan student care. Conduct training sessions for staff and parents to extend therapeutic practices beyond the classroom. Strong knowledge of disability types and corresponding therapeutic techniques. Ability to devise and execute detailed therapeutic interventions. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Proficiency in documentation and compliance with educational laws and regulations. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Valid state license as an Occupational Therapist. NBCOT Certification as an Occupational Therapist. Specific training or certification in pediatric or school-based occupational therapy is preferred.
