Job Description WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking a local contract nurse RN Float Maternal - Newborn for a local contract nursing job in Newark, New Jersey. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Maternal - Newborn - Discipline: RN - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Local Contract WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Mother Baby Nurse a for a 13-week contract assignment at a Prestigious Hospital in Newark, NJ. Job Function: /n /n - Day Shift. /n - 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. /n /n - Categorize patients according to the appropriate level of care/classification. /n /n - Identify emergency situations, consider patient age, and notify the provider as needed. /n /n - Administer medications in accordance with the five rights of medication safety and infection control guidelines, as well as provider orders. /n /n - Screen patients for pain during the initial assessment and reassess in accordance with established guidelines. /n /n /n /n Job Requirements: /n - Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN). /n - Current RN license for the state of NJ./n /n - 2 years of Mother Baby RN experience is required. /n /n - BLS, ACLS, certifications from the American Heart Association are required. /n /n - EPIC experience preferred. /n /nDisclosure: The hourly rates and/or salaries listed may or may not reflect total compensation packages including bonus and fringe benefits, etc., nor are the advertisement(s) posted a guarantee of a certain compensation package for a position or bona fide offer of employment.
