Description Atlantic Health is Seeking a Per Diem Nurse Practitioner for Pulmonary Critical Care in Freehold, NJ Atlantic Health, one of New Jersey’s largest non-profit healthcare networks, is seeking a Per Diem Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join the CentraState Pulmonology Critical Care team at CentraState Medical Center in Freehold, New Jersey. The team includes five pulmonologists, seven nurse practitioners, and dedicated support staff serving the 16-bed Intensive Care Unit at CentraState Health System. The Per Diem NP will be required to work at least two shifts per month, with the opportunity for more shifts as needed. The Nurse Practitioner will work closely with the pulmonology team to deliver immediate, high-quality care to ICU patients. Key responsibilities include managing the critical care unit in collaboration with attending, writing consult and follow up notes, and procedures such as central line, arterial line, and HD catheters. Additional procedures such as intubation, thoracentesis, paracentesis, intubation, chest tube, LP are preferred but not mandatory.
