Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: CVOR - Discipline: RN - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Local Contract WCS Healthcare is currently seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse for a contract assignment at a highly respected hospital in Livingston, NJ. This role is ideal for an OR nurse who thrives in a fast?paced surgical environment and is committed to delivering safe, high?quality perioperative care. Job Function: /n - Day Shift. /n - 3x12: 6:30pm- 6am. /n - Document all patient care accurately, completely, and promptly in the facility EMR /n - Prepare the operating room for procedures and assist with room turnover /n - Assist with patient positioning and ensure comfort and safety throughout the procedure /n - Handle and label specimens according to policy /n - Maintain strict adherence to aseptic technique and infection?control standards /n - Identify and initiate corrective actions when necessary /n - Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and OR staff to ensure efficient workflow /n /n Job Requirements: /n - Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN). /n - Active NJ or Compact RN license /n - Minimum 2 years OR experience /n - Strong circulator background /n /n - BLS /n /n - NIHSS /n /n - ACLS- preferred /n /n Disclosure: The hourly rates and/or salaries listed may or may not reflect total compensation packages including bonus and fringe benefits, etc., nor are the advertisement(s) posted a guarantee of a certain compensation package for a position or bona fide offer of employment.
