Job Description:

Eagle Rock Post Acute is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our healthcare team. Our facility prioritizes personalized patient care and recovery, integrating a variety of therapies and treatments tailored to individual health needs. The ideal candidate will assist in daily clinical operations and patient care, contributing to an efficient and therapeutic environment. Responsibilities include measuring vital signs, preparing treatment rooms, and assisting with patient examinations and treatments under the direction of a physician or nurse. Measure and record patient vital signs and medical information. Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations, ensuring cleanliness and proper setup of medical instruments. Assist physicians and nurses during patient examinations and treatments. Perform routine laboratory tests and administer medications as directed. Educate and communicate with patients regarding treatment plans and health maintenance. Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations. Strong clinical skills and proficiency in medical procedures. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle stress and perform effectively in emergency situations. Proficient in healthcare software and electronic health records. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential is required.
