The Spray Lab Supervisor will use and apply knowledge of basic
scientific principles, theories, and concepts to develop solutions
to problems of moderate complexities. Lead a group in the execution
and timely completion of development projects. Contribute to
concept and approve design of research proposals. Present ideas for
modifying existing procedures and suggest alternative methods to
improve results. Prepare and organize data for presentation at
internal meetings. Supervise employees; assign work to others; and
train new or less experienced employees. This is a 2nd shift
position with hours from 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm.

efficient progress of projects.
--- Assist in writing protocols and approve information for
--- Prioritize and supervise laboratory activities; assist in
maintaining the equipment used for testing.
--- Present ideas for modifying existing procedures, suggest
alternative methods to improve results, and assist in
--- Prepare and review cGMP and training documentation, such as
SOPs, test methods, and technical reports.
--- Train, mentor and/or advise less experienced members within the
--- May coordinate the planning, design, and execution of
development projects or process/method improvement projects.
--- May represent the department in internal and external
--- Is a backup for client and/or regulatory agency audits and
--- Use of Renaissance general quality systems. Examples:
Trackwise, QIS, LN
--- Within area of responsibility, understand and comply with all
Renaissance safety, environmental and quality practices and
procedures as outlined in organizational/departmental guidelines
and SOPs as well as applicable federal, state and local
--- Perform other duties as assigned.
Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Chemistry or Life Science from
a four-year college or university is required. Minimum 10 years of
related experience with a Bachelor's degree; 6 years of related
experience with a Master's degree from a four-year college or
university; or 2 years of related experience with a PhD. Laboratory
experience and/or Pharmaceutical industry experience is required.
