Job Summary The Tuxedo Club seeks an experienced, enthusiastic and customer service-driven Lifeguard to join our team for the season! Duties & Responsibilities The primary responsibility of the Lifeguard is to ensure the safety of all members and guests in the pool area Ensure all NYS Health & Safety Standards and Codes are followed by maintaining proper balances of pool chemicals and cleanliness of all aquatic operations Complete daily operations forms for opening/closing of each shift Assist Pool Director with all documentation for NYS and The Tuxedo Club and all ad-hoc projects This job description in no way states or implies that this position is limited to the aforementioned duties. Qualifications Current American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification Current American Red Cross First Aid and CPR/AED Must be able to enforce rules and regulations in a professional manner Current WSY certification preferred 1 year Lifeguard experience preferred Team player that is energetic, professional, and has a po sitive attitude Must be able to work varied shifts which include weekdays, weekends & holidays Compensation & Benefits Competitive Hourly Rate Eligible for Employee Holiday Bonus Working Conditions It is expected that, at times, you may have to work on evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.
