Job Description:

Description The Arc, Ocean County Chapter Inc. has been providing services to individuals with disabilities for over 60 years. Our agency is currently experiencing expansion throughout the Ocean County area and we are seeking a full-time, entry-level recruiter to assist our busy Human Resources Department.

The responsibilities of the Recruiter include but are not limited to:
Reviews applications and resumes; conducts phone pre-screening sessions and schedules interviews for managers; follows up on all outstanding applications.
Coordinates and conducts internal and external recruitment events.
Prepare and post jobs to appropriate website, newspaper, job board, etc.
Provide analytical and well documented reports to the rest of the team.
Abide by and maintain a working knowledge of the agency policy and procedures, Human Resources policy and procedures, and the Arc mission.
Protect the rights and freedoms of each individual served, maintain the confidentiality of information regarding individuals served.
Review and clarify job specifications and descriptions as necessary.
Verify references and previous work experience for pending candidates.
Manage applicant tracking system.
Draft rejection letters.
Ensure regulatory aspects of the recruitment process are compliant with federal and state legislation.
Requirements The successful candidate will possess the following:
1-2 year of professional experience working in a recruiting or human resources role
BA in Human Resources or related field
Be proficient in MS Office Suite
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Develop recruiting strategies to attract highly qualified candidates
Determine online recruiting and sourcing strategies for attracting and recruiting candidates
Supporting hiring managers and candidates
Perform candidate searches for qualified candidates
Managing full cycle recruitment process which includes sourcing candidates
Present top qualified candidates to hiring managers
Develop recruiting strategies designed to identify qualified candidates through various recruiting tools
