JOB DEFINITION AND PURPOSE
The Electrical Installer is responsible for
performing low voltage installation of American Van Equipments
products on vans and trucks that meets strict company and safety
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Auto-Marine, rigger experience
- Automotive DC 12 Volt experience required.
- Ability to read, understand and follow technical specifications
for the installation of low voltage equipment on work trucks, vans
- Utilizes appropriate resources, such as the parts manual and
computer, service bulletins and other resources to research
problems, determine most effective and efficient method for
installation or repairs.
- Diagnose and repair electrical component and systems related
issues with safety as the top priority.
- Abide by all company policies and safety rules and assist in
maintaining a clean, safe work environment.
- Ability to work additional hours, including weekends, in
accordance with business needs and other demands of the

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 1 year of relevant electrical installation experience
in light to medium-duty van, truck and equipment. Demonstrate
diagnostic and troubleshooting competency relating to equipment
Ability to clearly communicate in English, both verbally and
written; ability to read and understand English.
