Overview:

• A company that develops and manufactures materials for the U.S Space Program is looking for a Quality Assurance Technician to join the team in Lakewood, NJ. Their industrial fabrics, composites, and elastomers are used in a wide range of industries including aerospace, automotive, marine, petrochemical, and construction. The QA Technician will operate in laboratory, manufacturing, and office settings. Job Description:
  • Maintenance of Quality Assurances Procedures and Documentation.
  • Quality Systems Maintenance; Plant Process Auditing.
  • Receiving Inspection of Raw Materials; Resolution of Supplier Discrepancies.
  • Take in-process samples and perform necessary laboratory testing
  • Coordinate customer complaints and resolution.
  • Control of non-conforming product disposition.
  • Must adhere to all safety regulations and wear PPE as required.
  • Promote ISO 9001 and Corporate Quality Initiatives. Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related materials science field.
    • Hands on experience with laboratory testing (can be academic or professional). First Shift:
