About the Role As a Veterinary Technician, you will be an integral
part of the veterinary team, assisting veterinarians in
diagnostics, surgery, patient care, and client education. Key
responsibilities include: Assisting in surgical procedures and
monitoring anesthesia. Collecting and processing laboratory samples
(bloodwork, urinalysis, cytology, etc.). Performing radiographs and
other diagnostic imaging. Administering medications, vaccines, and
treatments as directed by veterinarians. Educating pet owners on
post-surgical care, treatment plans, and preventive healthcare.
Handling and restraining animals safely and compassionately.
Maintaining accurate medical records and ensuring hospital
cleanliness and efficiency. Who We're Looking For: Certified
Veterinary Technician (CVT) preferred, but open to experienced
non-certified technicians. Active Pennsylvania veterinary
technician license (or eligibility to obtain one). Minimum of 1+
years of clinical experience in a veterinary setting. Proficiency
in surgical assistance, laboratory diagnostics, and animal
handling. Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate
with veterinarians and support staff. Commitment to providing
