is looking for a Wholesale Account Manager (NJ) to grow and support
our wholesale business across New Jersey. In this role, you'll
manage a portfolio of retail partners, build strong relationships,
and ensure a smooth, high-quality customer experience from order to
delivery. You'll uncover new opportunities, support product
launches, and drive sales by understanding partner needs and
connecting them with the right Ascend products. The ideal candidate
brings strong knowledge of the cannabis wholesale landscape, sharp
commercial instincts, and a passion for long-term partnership
building. Success in this role requires a blend of strategic
thinking and hands-on execution to hit revenue targets, expand
market reach, and reinforce Ascend as a trusted wholesale partner.
Location: New Jersey; travel throughout the state 4-5 days per week
Key Responsibilities Plan and execute a comprehensive wholesale
strategy that aligns with the company's growth objectives within
the assigned territory (NJ). Consistently meet or exceed monthly
revenue goals. Build and sustain strong relationships with existing
wholesale partners and potential clients. Identify new business
opportunities, lead negotiations with potential wholesale partners,
and assess the performance of existing partnerships. Explore and
target new markets and regions to expand wholesale operations.
Cultivate effective relationships with key decision-makers.
Contribute to the development of merchandising strategies and
account-specific marketing initiatives. Represent the company at
industry events and tradeshows, as well as company-sponsored
functions. Perform pricing and cost analysis to support business
decisions. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor's degree in Business or
a related field is preferred, equivalent experience may be
considered. A minimum of 4 years of successful sales experience,
outside sales experience required. 1 years of sales experience in
New Jersey cannabis market preferred. Proven track record of
exceeding sales targets. Passionate about building and nurturing
strong relationships. Exceptional communicator with the ability to
negotiate effectively across various levels. Adaptable and thrives
in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Willingness to work outside
of normal business hours as needed. Reliable transportation and
ability to travel throughout New Jersey. Proficient in Microsoft
Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Experience
with HubSpot or other CRM systems is preferred. Demonstrates
